The minimalist Japanese retailer has revealed another prominent location set to open this summer, as it plans to open as many as 20 Canadian stores by the year 2020.
The massive shopping mall has seen considerable investment over the past three years, recognizing changing demographics within its catchment area. The mall’s manager explained what the landlord has done to substantially increase its productivity, making Square One a leading centre in terms of revenue as well as footfall.
The popular cosmetics brand opened its first freestanding Canadian store in September, and it plans to open several more Canadian stores, according to its Chief Retail Officer.
The 130,000 square foot store includes innovative new features unavailable in other Holt Renfrew locations. It replaces a nearby store that closed earlier this week.
