The acquisition builds on AutoCanada’s purchase of the first Doug’s Place location in Edmonton’s Strathcona area in October 2025 and adds dedicated non-luxury collision repair capacity near six of the company’s franchised dealerships.

AutoCanada says affordability pressures continue to weigh on Canadian vehicle buyers as it improves dealerships, used sales and collision operations.

Net loss from continuing operations of $(3.3) million, compared to net income of $9.7 million in the prior year.

The appointment comes as AutoCanada continues operating its Canadian dealership and collision repair business while progressing the sale of its U.S. dealership portfolio.

Revenue from continuing operations was $1,116.6 million as compared to $1,265.8 million in the prior year, a decrease of $149.2 million
