DAUB + Design Opens First Showroom on South Granville in Vancouver

Share post:

Founded in 2010, Canadian designer DAUB + Design has ventured into the world of brick & mortar with a 766 square foot location at 3012 Granville Street.

The experiential retail space will bring together online trends with a location that will showcase more than a dozen brands, in addition to the small-batch activewear that DAUB is known for.

“Clothing is one of those items that people still need to touch and feel the fabrics and, of course, to try-on to really see how it fits their body. We use incredibly soft fabrics and design for comfort; it’s definitely been a challenge to convey this information online,” says Lexi Soukoreff, owner and creative director of Daub + Design.

Lexi goes on to explain that “one of the biggest hurdles we have is explaining fit, fabrics and styling through social media and email. Despite the demand for online shopping, people still want the in-person, tactile experience. After years of selling face to face at markets, we also miss our clients and human interaction.”

DAUB South Granville has been designed to bring the local community to the fore-front, with store features and fixtures manufactured in Vancouver from local trades.

The store has opened to the public in a soft-open phase and will be circling back when the time is right to have a full grand opening celebration. For the time being, the location is staffed with DAUB associates that will be giving personalized shopping experiences to customers that follow current health and safety guidelines.
