The RONA Foundation, which oversees the philanthropic activities of RONA inc., one of Canada’s leading home improvement retailers, recently ran its fourth edition of the Home Sweet Home campaign and on Monday it announced it had raised $580,000 in support of nearly 150 organizations across Canada. From August 31 to October 12, 2026, customers and teams from 203 participating stores came together to help vulnerable individuals in their communities.
Funds raised will be donated in full to organizations that were selected by the teams at each participating store. These organizations are highly involved in their communities, providing support to victims of domestic violence and their children, low-income families, and people with disabilities or mental health issues. Since its launch in 2023, the Home Sweet Home campaign has presented almost $2.5 million to hundreds of Canadian organizations, said the retailer.
The Home Sweet Home campaign stands out thanks to its local approach; indeed, teams in participating stores are the ones who choose which organization to support in their community, and funds raised in each region are directly reinvested there, it added.

“Every year, the Home Sweet Home campaign reminds us of the strength of our network, as our teams and customers come together to support people in need in their communities. Thanks to their generosity, some 150 local organizations will be able to continue their critical work with vulnerable individuals and families. We give our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of this fourth edition,” said Catherine Laporte, Chair of the RONA Foundation Board of Directors and Chief Digital and Marketing Officer at RONA inc.
