Flying Tiger has opened its first Canadian store at CF Toronto Eaton Centre, introducing a Danish retail concept built around discovery, design and constantly changing merchandise as the company begins a five-store GTA expansion.

Toys “R” Us Canada's brands, store leases and operating assets are set to be divided among three buyers, leaving questions about the future of the retailer's remaining stores and operations in Canada.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen is entering Canada with its Scandinavian-inspired discovery retail concept and an initial GTA expansion.

Flying Tiger Copenhagen will open Canadian stores starting June 2026, replacing former Fox Home locations across the GTA.

Large-format Greek retailer Jumbo will debut in Ontario in 2026 under Fox Group’s franchise, with three hyper-stores planned initially and a goal of 5–10 locations across Canada within three years.

Nike opens a flagship store on Toronto’s Bloor Street, offering 17,000 sq. ft. of premium products and innovative design in a prime retail hub.

It will be the second Nike flagship for Toronto’s downtown core, with the former Nordstrom space in the mall to be fully tenanted with Nike, Eataly and La Maison Simons. 

Israel-based licensee Fox Group is expanding the Nike nameplate across Canada while also taking back operations in British Columbia. 

The store is part of an expansion for Fox Group and Nike that includes large flagships in major cities.

Tel Aviv-based Fox Group is investing heavily into the Canadian market with other store concepts expanding that include Nike, Mango, and Laline.
