We’re predicting that this year will be one of highs and lows — Sears Canada will shutter, Nordstrom Rack will enter Canada, marijuana will be legalized, and plenty of other developments.
The luxury retailer entered Canada 12 months ago, with a disruptive, action-packed year that included store openings for both its Saks and Off 5th nameplates. Saks will continue opening Canadian stores into 2018 and onwards as it gains market share from competitors.
The stores will be in Toronto, Edmonton and Calgary. When open, Saks OFF 5TH will operate seven Canadian stores, well on its way to opening 25 locations by the year 2018.
