New York-based fashion and lifestyle retailer Kith has opened its second Canadian flagship at Oakridge Park in Vancouver, expanding its presence in Canada three years after opening its first location in Toronto’s Yorkville neighbourhood.

The new store spans approximately 9,000 square feet. Located in the shopping centre’s North Arcade, the flagship carries men’s, women’s, children’s and baby collections, footwear, accessories and collaborations, along with a dedicated Kith Treats ice cream concept.

The opening comes as Oakridge Park continues to introduce international retailers following its debut earlier this year. Kith’s arrival coincides with the scheduled October 23 opening of a new Giorgio Armani boutique and café, adding to the development’s growing collection of luxury and contemporary fashion brands.

A Street-Facing Flagship Within Oakridge Park

Kith occupies a prominent location at the western end of Oakridge Park’s North Arcade, with an expansive curved-glass exterior frontage and entrances accessible from the shopping centre and surrounding outdoor pedestrian areas.

The configuration gives Kith the visibility of a street-front flagship while connecting it to the shopping centre’s internal retail environment. The store is situated near several international fashion retailers, including Maison Margiela, Valentino and Canada Goose.

Photographs of the new flagship show a contrast between the glass exterior and the darker walnut-clad entrance facing the North Arcade. Separate entrances serve the main fashion store and Kith Treats, allowing customers to visit the dessert concept independently.

Interiors Designed by Ronnie Fieg and Ben Porto

Kith founder, chief executive officer and creative director Ronnie Fieg worked with architect Ben Porto of Porto Architecture on the Vancouver flagship. The two have collaborated on several Kith stores internationally, developing a recognizable design approach that combines custom materials and fixtures with distinct environments for different merchandise categories.

The men’s department features dark walnut walls, marble finishes, brass accents and velvet panels embossed with Kith’s crest. Seasonal collections, collaborations and accessories are displayed in integrated cabinetry, while a dedicated footwear area incorporates custom stone and wood detailing.

The women’s department has a lighter appearance, with chevron-patterned white oak flooring, decorative stonework and emerald quartzite accents. Alongside Kith’s women’s collections, the space includes Vancouver-specific selections of designer handbags and fine jewellery.

Kith Kids occupies its own department, featuring cloud-inspired design elements, mint-green accents and custom display cabinetry. The assortment includes clothing and footwear for children, with sizes ranging from infants to older kids.

Large areas of exterior glazing introduce natural light into portions of the store, particularly around the children’s department. The bright interior contrasts with the darker finishes around the entrance facing the shopping centre’s North Arcade.

Kith Treats and Exclusive Footwear Launch

The Vancouver flagship includes Kith Treats, the retailer’s ice cream and cereal-based dessert concept, which is also found at several of its international locations. The operation has its own entrance from the North Arcade and offers signature desserts, customizable selections and rotating limited-time offerings, including items developed for Vancouver.

To celebrate the opening, Kith is introducing an early release of its Winter 2026 footwear collaboration with Salomon. The collection includes the XT-4K Mid, XT-4 OG and XT-VYGR 2, with all three models available at Kith Vancouver on October 23 ahead of the global release on October 26.

The exclusive launch gives customers another reason to visit the flagship during its opening period. Limited-release footwear collaborations are an established part of Kith’s merchandise strategy, complementing its seasonal apparel collections and partnerships with other brands.

How Vancouver Compares With Kith’s Toronto Flagship

Kith entered the Canadian market in September 2023 with a flagship at 78 Yorkville Avenue in Toronto, establishing a presence in one of Canada’s best-known luxury shopping districts. The two-storey location includes men’s, women’s and children’s merchandise, Kith Treats and a Sadelle’s restaurant.

The Toronto flagship involved a build-out costing close to $10 million, with construction undertaken by Montreal-based SAJO. The construction cost of the new Vancouver location has not been disclosed.

The two Canadian stores have different physical configurations. Toronto occupies a street-front location in Yorkville, while Vancouver is integrated into a shopping centre, with prominent exterior glazing and access from the North Arcade.

Vancouver does not include a Sadelle’s restaurant, although Kith Treats remains part of the offering. Its approximately 9,000-square-foot footprint accommodates multiple merchandise departments and the dedicated dessert operation within Oakridge Park.

Kith Joins Oakridge Park’s Expanding Retail Mix

Kith’s opening comes as Oakridge Park continues to welcome retailers following the development’s initial opening on May 28, 2026. The project, developed by QuadReal Property Group and Westbank, is transforming the former Oakridge Centre into a mixed-use destination incorporating retail, residential, cultural and public spaces.

The shopping centre opened with approximately 500,000 square feet of retail space, with the completed shopping component expected to encompass about 650,000 square feet. The development has attracted international luxury brands including Louis Vuitton, Prada, Miu Miu, Brunello Cucinelli, Moncler and Versace, alongside a growing selection of contemporary fashion and lifestyle retailers.

Kith adds a streetwear and contemporary fashion offering to that mix, with its own apparel collections, footwear collaborations and merchandise spanning several age groups. Its location at the edge of the North Arcade provides substantial exterior visibility while placing the brand among Oakridge Park’s international fashion tenants.

The new Giorgio Armani boutique and café, also scheduled to open October 23, represents another addition to the development’s luxury offering. Further retail openings are expected as Oakridge Park continues its phased rollout, with additional stores and mixed-use components still under development.
