Shake Shack Canada has announced the opening details for two Ontario openings, with Oakville (275 Hays Blvd.) opening November 18 followed by Burlington (4511 Dundas St.) on December 4.
Both locations will serve up the brand’s signature classics, made with 100% premium Canadian ingredients, including Angus beef burgers and crispy whole white meat Chicken Sandwiches, alongside crispy Crinkle-Cut Fries, hand-spun Shakes and Frozen Custards, said the company.
“We look forward to welcoming guests to our new Oakville and Burlington locations and serving them with the exceptional quality, hospitality and energy that makes the Shake Shack experience so special,” said Billy Richmond, Business Director of Shake Shack Canada. “Community is at the heart of everything we do, and we’re excited for Shake Shack to become a part of the Oakville and Burlington communities.”
The company said the Oakville and Burlington locations mark another step in its continued growth across the country. It is opening a location in London, Ontario in 2027, which will be the first one in Ontario to feature a drive-thru. In 2026 the brand also opened locations in Calgary and new restaurants on King St. West and Yonge St. in Toronto.
Formed in 2023, Shake Shack Canada is a partnership between Osmington Inc. and Harlo Entertainment Inc.—two Canadian-based private investment companies.
Since the original brand opened in 2004 in NYC’s Madison Square Park, the company has expanded to over 705 locations system-wide, including over 455 in 35 U.S. States and the District of Columbia, and over 250 international locations across London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore, Mexico City, Istanbul, Dubai, Tokyo, Seoul and more.
